On World Travel
My POV
This a time where an opportunity exists to break from our personal walls of opinions, judgments, and biases; to open wide our hearts to the cultural differences that exist. Not only to be tolerant, but be accepting, civil, and courteous.
Drop only ideas of superiority and the “thinking” that our way is the best way, the only way, and embrace the idea that our ways are simply only one way.
It’s a path to peace… World peace
“The cause of freedom is not because of a race or a sect, a party or a class. It is the cause of humankind, the very birthright of humanity.” ~ Anna Julia Cooper August 10, 1858 – February 27, 1964
Anna Julia Cooper, born enslaved in the United States, she became an American author, educator, sociologist, speaker, Black liberation activist, Black feminist leader, and one of the most prominent African-American scholars in United States history.
You can find her quote on the back page of the newer passports. The only woman quoted in our little blue book.
