Drop only ideas of superiority and the “thinking” that our way is the best way, the only way, and embrace the idea that our ways are simply only one way.

Anna Julia Cooper, born enslaved in the United States, she became an American author, educator, sociologist, speaker, Black liberation activist, Black feminist leader, and one of the most prominent African-American scholars in United States history.
